2017 Fall Fundraiser & Caring Campaign


September 5th-October 6th
It is time for the Fall Fundraiser at Madison Simis
Elementary, along with a new Caring Campaign! The following
is an overview of what will be happening over these fun-filled five weeks!
Our Goal: $45,000 ($50 per student)
Why? PATS is Parents and Teachers at Simis. The fall fundraiser is a major contributor to PATS. Thanks to YOUR support, PATS is able to fund many things that help make Simis such an excellent school:

DIGGS-Art Masterpiece-Classroom supplies-P.E-Teacher Appreciation-Family Assistance-International Baccalaureate-School improvements-And much more!

September 5th–October 6th: Cash Donation: Donate now.
Encourage family and friends to do the same!
Emails will be sent out, which can be copied, pasted, and personalized for your child, then sent to at least three family or friends.
Donations may also be brought to front office.Be sure it goes to fall fundraiser, and your child’s name and teacher is included with the donation to be entered for prizes.
Did you know your gift to PATS could be matched dollar for dollar by your employer?

September 5th–October 6th:“Caring is Super” Cards: Encourage students to be caring to each other. Cards will be around school to be filled out by students when they recognize a caring peer.

Tuesday, September 5th: “Caring is Super” kick-off assembly: Students will enjoy a morning assembly where superhero staff will get them excited about caring for our school and their peers.

Friday, September 8th:Dress-up Like a Superhero Day:$3 to wear a superhero costume or t-shirt to school. Give the money to your
teacher in the morning. Money goes toward class total!

September 11th-14th:You’re a Super Friend bracelets:$1 per bracelet. This week stations will be available for students to be caring to a friend and our school by purchasing a bracelet
to be delivered by a superhero to the friend(s)at the end of the week. Money goes toward class total!

September 18th-22nd:Coin Drive: Send in your coins! Clean out the car, the junk drawer, and couch cushions. Each classroom will have a collection jug. The class that collects the most coins wins a prize! Coins also go towards class total! Mid-first bank will bring their counting truck at the end of the week. They will match $1000 and give a bonus $250 if we collect $2000!

September 27th:Superhero Photo Booth:$1 per photo. Students can
get fun photo taken.Superhero backdrop and props provided! Money goes toward class total!

Friday, October 6th: Caring Words Day: Free! Last day of the fall fundraiser we would like to end by having kids define themselves with a caring word or phase. Labels and markers will be at a station where each student may write his/her caring word and wear it the remainder of the day!


  • Top 3 classes earning the most money: Pizza party at Flip Dunk!
  • Top 3 classes earning the most “Caring is Super!” cards: Ice-cream party delivered by Just Chillin Ice Cream Truck
  • Three students will be drawn from a raffle to each win an iPad! For every $50 donation earned by the student, he/she will receive one entry for the raffle.
  • One student will be drawn from the “Caring is Super” cards to win two movie tickets!
  • Teachers of the top 3 donation classes and top 3 classes with the most “Caring is Super” cards will receive a $50 gift card!
